Am applying to several technical college LVN/LPN programs and am curious if these would meet the criteria for being "professional" schools according to federal financial aid criteria. Considering they are not junior colleges or four year colleges, and they are instructing students only to do certain things, I would think (and hope) that they would be considered professional schools. In what I've been reading, the professional schools are listed alongside graduate schools on the federal student loan websites I've been visiting. As graduate schools are what award masters and doctorates and the like, it leads me to believe that professional schools would be those that award professional licenses (such as LVN/LPN, RN, et cetera). Tell them to bring survey equipment with them. You could call a survey crew out but most good grading operators can do it too and should have someone on the crew who knows how to use survey tools for establishing levels. Look in your local phone book for "Grading" or under "Soil" & "Contractors". Big landscape companies have crews that do this too.
